Client: Emma Wallace Hair Salon
Situation
Emma Wallace Hair Studio emerged as a fresh contender in the competitive landscape of Corstorphine Road, Edinburgh, an area renowned for its abundance of hair salons.
Challenge
Emma needed a stylish web presence for her salon to showcase the fantastic haircuts her team create and also the great interior design of her salon.
Finally she wanted to highlight her wedding hair service to visitors. Emma was aware this needed to be a responsive site that worked on mobiles as she rightly believed that were her visitors would be arriving from.
Her business had already been picked up by many business directory aggregators and she was concerned her website and social pages would not be found, even when searching for her by name.
Solution
I designed & built a custom coded responsive WordPress website to look minimal and stylish while loading quickly and being easy to read by visitors.
I connected the business with Google places and added a Google map to the site to help her visitors find her.
I commissioned a local citation for her business to help her website be found by searching for her business name, the citation helped clear up inaccurate citations.
The strategic implementation yielded notable results. The salon’s website now attracts an average of 500 visitors per month.
Impressively, within six months of launch, the website achieved the top ranking on Google for ‘Emma Wallace Hair Studio’ and secured the 1st position for ‘Hair Studio Corstorphine’ on Google Maps.
The studio consistently garners five-star reviews on Google Places, bolstering its social credibility. This enhanced online presence has not only elevated brand awareness but also streamlined the booking process, enabling efficient online appointment scheduling.
